Unfolding through June 18, this global art extravaganza showcases a broad spectrum of artistic creativity, including major works by established and emerging artists, colossal installations, cultural dialogues, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/culture.org\/news\/inside-a-cinematic-intersection-of-art-and-survival\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">films<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and public projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the words of Art Basel CEO Noah Horowitz, Art Basel has always been the &#8220;unwavering foundation&#8221; of the global art scene, a sentiment echoed by the 284 galleries from 36 countries that have come together for this grand celebration of artistic expression.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>The Highlights: Journeying Through The Best Of Art Basel 2023<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event presents an impressive array of artworks. From Joan Mitchell&#8217;s large lyrical abstraction on display at David Zwirner, to Georg Baselitz&#8217;s expressive depiction of a weary worker in his 1965 figurative canvas, visitors are treated to a visual feast of masterpieces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add to the mix intriguing newer artworks, such as Cindy Sherman\u2019s 2023 Untitled #652 photograph at Hauser &amp; Wirth and Bony Ramirez\u2019s 2023 painted and collaged work, Strelitzia Nicolai, at Jeffrey Deitch.
